Sotamar Shark Tour is a project initiated and led by divers who are passionate about sharks. The goal is to increase knowledge about sharks among both the diving community and the general public. The project covers three interrelated areas:

INTERACTION with sharks
Sotamar Shark Tour organizes specific trips to dive with sharks in the best destinations worldwide. One or more notable shark species are selected for diving, choosing the best time of year and destination to find them. During the trip, divers receive training through seminars that cover topics ranging from shark biology to the conduct guidelines divers should follow during their dives.
EDUCATION about sharks
In addition to shark-specific seminars offered during trips for divers, Sotamar Shark Tour provides an extensive educational program on the world of sharks for the public. There is a series of lectures available at various levels, depending on the needs of schools, colleges, associations, and more. Sotamar Shark Tour also offers educational and divulgation videos about sharks and documentaries produced during their expeditions.
CONSERVATION of sharks
Sotamar Shark Tour contributes to shark conservation through awareness campaigns and the production of various materials. It also participates in studies through citizen science programs. Finally, Sotamar Shark Tour collaborates on shark research projects through partnerships with universities.
