Sotamar Shark Tour will participate in the Scientific Shark Tagging Event, to be held in the waters of Cap de Creus on June 18, 2022.
This event is organized by the Catalan Association for Responsible Fishing under the scientific direction of the Barcelona Zoo Foundation and the Institute of Marine Sciences (CSIC).
Shark tagging can be a crucial technique for understanding the migratory patterns of certain pelagic species, such as the blue shark (Prionace glauca), which is critically endangered in the Mediterranean.
